Economic Analysis of Sugar Beet Production
The paper presents a research in sugar beet production on the 35 ha sown area on a family farm in the area of Osijek-Baranja County in Croatia. Using the farm internal data, analytical
calculation is made and absolute and relative production success indicators are calculated. The total costs amounted to 12,215.00 HRK/ha; the most significant part of the costs is spent
on plant protection products, whose share in the total cost structure is as much as 24%. The yield of sugar beet root is 60 t/ha. The cost-effectiveness coefficient is 1.33, the rate
of profitability is 32.62%, and the profit with the existing sugar content of 14.8–16.35% amounts to 139,475.00 HRK.

Článek prezentuje výzkum produkce cukrové řepy na osevní ploše 35 ha na rodinné farmě v okrese Osijek-Baranja v Chorvatsku. S použitím interních údajů farmy byla provedena analytická kalkulace
a byly vyčteny absolutní a relativní ukazatele úspěšnosti produkce. Celkové náklady byly 12 215,00 HRK/ha, přičemž největší část nákladů připadla na přípravky na ochranu rostlin,
jejichž podíl na celkové struktuře nákladů představoval 24 %. Výnos cukrové řepy byl 60 t/ha. Koeficient efektivity nákladů je 1,33, procento ziskovosti 32,62 %, a zisk při stávající
cukernatosti 14,8–16,35 % dosáhl 139 475,00 HRK.
