Porovnání vlivu kademnatých iontů na raná somatická embrya jedle a smrku Comparison of influence of cadmium(II) ions on early somatic embryos of spruce and fir
In this eleven-days-long study, we have investigated the influence of cadmium(II) ions (0, 50, 250 and 500 μM) on early
somatic embryos of spruce and fir. We have paid our attention mainly to growth, content of accumulated cadmium and metabolomic
characters including the activity glutathione-S-transferase. It follows from the comparing of the results obtained that fir hybrid
showed positive features in the growth characteristics, while spruce shown better metabolomic indicators. Early somatic embryos
of spruce had the greater ability of uptaking cadmium(II) ions.
